Château Sainte-Sabine features 23 rooms, spread across the main building and the château’s wings. Each room has its own identity, shaped by the historic layout of the property and a deliberately refined décor, with pastel tones and a subtly timeworn elegance.
Exposed beams, generous volumes, classic furnishings and carefully chosen textiles create warm, soothing interiors. The rooms favour differentiated layouts and atmospheres inherited from the history of the building, far removed from uniform hotel standards.
The Guard Room Suite stands as the most emblematic accommodation in the château. Set within the former defensive hall, this 110 sqm suite unfolds within a spectacular volume, highlighted by original wood panelling and a French-style ceiling rising to nearly five metres in height.
The main bedroom is dominated by a monumental Neo-Gothic fireplace, a faithful reproduction of the one found in the Guard Room of the Palace of the Dukes of Burgundy in Dijon. Period Louis XIII furniture, carefully sourced and restored by craftsmen, reinforces the feeling of inhabiting a place rich in memory and meaning.
A balcony and a private terrace extend the suite outdoors, opening on one side onto the château courtyard, and on the other onto the church and village of Sainte-Sabine. Staying here fully reveals the spirit of the place: that of a château experienced from within, in its most authentic and rare expression.
The shared spaces extend this sense of quiet grandeur: lounges opening onto the park, light-filled reception rooms and terraces inviting moments of pause.
