Perched atop Saint-Nicaise Hill, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, Domaine Les Crayères looks out over the city of Reims on one side and the gentle foothills of the Montagne de Reims on the other. Built in 1904 at the initiative of the Marquise de Polignac, the château was conceived as a refined private residence, inspired by Mansart architecture and shaped by a spirit of graceful discretion. Today, it remains surrounded by seven hectares of landscaped parkland designed by Édouard André and Jules-Édouard Redont – sweeping lawns, mature trees, and carefully composed flowerbeds that create an atmosphere of rare tranquillity.
And yet, just beyond the gates, many of Champagne’s great houses are within walking distance. This duality defines Les Crayères: serenely removed, yet quietly connected to the vibrant wine culture of Reims.

The Domaine offers 20 rooms and suites, divided between the historic château and Le Cottage, nestled within the park. Designed by Pierre-Yves Rochon, the interiors reflect an 18th- and 19th-century decorative style, enhanced by discreet contemporary comfort.
In the château, several rooms feature impressive ceiling heights, generous bathrooms, and open views across the park or main courtyard. Le Cottage offers a more independent atmosphere, with private entrances and terraces – particularly suited for longer, more residential stays.
Throughout the property, refined salons, a bar, and terraces open gently onto the gardens. Service reflects the traditions of great French houses: attentive, precise, and always unobtrusive.
